Why I support marjorie
Hear from neighbors, community leaders, advocates, and working people who know Marjorie about why they are supporting her in this election.

As a pediatrician, my job is to see the whole picture – the individual and the community that shapes every child’s health. That’s exactly what Marjorie does: she sees & values the individual person, as well as our whole community.
When our birth center was at risk of closing, Marjorie didn’t accept it. She secured one million dollars to keep it open. When our adolescent psychiatric unit was threatened, she challenged us to find a better way – and then delivered. She doesn’t just promise to fight for us. She wins. I trust Marjorie Decker with the health of Cambridge. She has earned our trust, again and again.

As a mom who is part of an LGBTQ+ family, I take comfort in the fact that we have someone in the State House who sees us and fights for us every day. With all that is going on at the federal level, that means everything.
When Trump moved to restrict access to health care, Marjorie Decker was a leader in preserving access for every family in Massachusetts. The Affirming Health Care Trust Fund didn’t happen by accident. Marjorie made it happen.

When a friend was denied access to a life-saving medication by her insurance company, I called Marjorie Decker. Marjorie didn’t hesitate to help. She took this experience and turned it into action, leading the fight against the health insurance industry and passing legislation to ensure that medical decisions are made by doctors and their patients—not insurance companies. That’s why I trust Marjorie to keep fighting for us. She listens, she acts, and she delivers results that make people’s lives better.

I’ve known Margie for over 20 years. Not because of a campaign. Because she’s always been there. When I need help finding a shelter or navigating services, she answers the phone. She listens without judgment and does everything she can to help. That kind of quiet, steady support —knowing someone will actually pick up, hear you out, and follow through— that’s not something you forget. Margie doesn’t just know my name. She knows me. And that makes all the difference.

Every day as a parent, we worry if our kids will come home safely from school. We sleep a little better knowing Marjorie has taken on the NRA and continues to work to make Massachusetts one of the safest states to live. We support Marjorie because we know she delivers results that make our kids safer.
